Clean and Cozy Home-Stay Hotel

This is a newly built home-stay hotel that is very clean and cozy. The hosts are kind and supportive. However, I do have to point out that they didn't inform us about the breakfast and dinner menu (which comes at an extra cost). If we had known, we wouldn't have spent so much time looking for restaurants at night. Aside from that, everything was lovely and perfect. It's within walking distance to the railway station, making it an ideal spot if you need to catch an early morning train.

Fantastic Nature Getaway

We had a fantastic stay! The location is truly stunning—peaceful, picturesque, and just what we needed. Our room was immaculate and very cozy. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always available to assist with anything we needed. One of the highlights was the gorgeous waterfall just a short walk from our accommodations, and the mountain views were simply breathtaking. I wholeheartedly recommend this spot to anyone seeking a relaxing escape surrounded by nature! Thanks, Dream Stay Green! Looking forward to our next visit! ❤️

Great stay with a minor suggestion

We had a wonderful time at Dream Stay Green. The accommodations were tidy and cozy, offering a fantastic view that made for a perfect relaxation spot. The service and location were outstanding as well. My only minor recommendation would be to include a proper cloth rack for added convenience. Aside from that, everything was fantastic!

Great stay in Nanu Oya!

Our experience in Sri Lanka has been fantastic, and this is the best accommodation we've found in our ten days here. It offers excellent value for money, and I wish we could have stayed longer than just one night. Although renovations are still ongoing, our room was ready, pristine, and fresh. It had all the essentials: towels, toiletries, soap, shower gel, lotion, coffee, tea, a kettle, a cozy bed, pillows, a hairdryer, hot water, and a balcony. A small fridge and possibly a closet would have made it even better. There are also games and books to enjoy. I loved waking up to the sound of birds from the balcony, which has a lovely view. The location is perfect, just a stone's throw from the train station, with small shops nearby, as well as a waterfall where we enjoyed a wonderful hike. We were pleasantly surprised by Nanu Oya, and I highly recommend this place! It would be even better if breakfast were included in the price.

Spacious hotel with great views

This hotel is quite nice, offering plenty of space and rooms that come with bathrooms. The view of the mountains outside is fantastic. However, there are some downsides: the bed sheets have an odd smell, and the water is warm but doesn't flow very well.

Great stay near transport hubs

This place is perfectly situated just a short distance from the Railway Station and Bus Halt. The rooms and bathrooms are spotless and equipped with all the necessary amenities. A room heater is included, along with tea and coffee making facilities. Free Wi-Fi is available, and the bedding and linens are of high quality. I highly recommend this spot for a stay; it’s quiet and peaceful.

Old facilities but friendly owner

The room facilities are quite outdated and look nothing like the photos, with noticeable mold on the walls and dust scattered across the floor, giving it an unsanitary vibe. The shower is broken, leaking water during use, and there's an unpleasant odor in the bathroom that seeps into the room. If you take a shower at night, the first person enjoys hot water, but the second might find it runs out midway; the owner mentioned this is a common issue. Guests should shower early, as hot water is scarce in the mountains. Additionally, there was no water available in the morning, which the owner noted is a frequent problem in this area. The biggest drawback, however, is the presence of many mosquitoes in the room, with no repellent products provided. If you stay here, definitely bring your own mosquito net; I counted at least five mosquitoes buzzing around at night. On the bright side, the owner is very friendly; he came to help us with a large black bee that got into the room one night, which was the only redeeming feature of our stay.

Great stay with fantastic views

This hotel was the highlight of my 10-day trip. It offered excellent value for money. We booked two rooms that were very spacious, and the washroom was quite large. The balcony had an incredible view of Nuwara Eliya—simply amazing! Although the location is a bit removed from the main town, the stay was definitely worth it. Nanu Oya railway station and Nanu Oya waterfall were within walking distance. The area gets really quiet after 7 PM, and there are limited restaurant options nearby, but we were fortunate to discover a Muslim hotel in the vicinity. The owner was very friendly and helpful, even arranging a car for us to travel to Ella at a lower cost than Uber. The driver was also a nice guy.

Comfortable stay in Nuwara Eliya

Our time in Nuwara Eliya was quite enjoyable and relaxing. The room was tidy, comfortable, and well-kept, creating a lovely atmosphere. The staff members, particularly Niroshan and Sawmya, were friendly and accommodating, making us feel very welcome during our visit.
