    Disappointing therapy experience

    I found my experience with her to be quite disappointing. She often brought up her personal experiences and her religious beliefs during our sessions, which wasn’t what I anticipated from a therapist. If I wanted that, I could have just gone to a temple instead of seeking therapy. She lacked empathy and kindness; in fact, she seemed very cold. At one point, she even said to me, “Do not date, guys only want to get inside your pants.” This really made me feel resentful towards therapy for some time.
