Charming stay with breathtaking views

We had a fantastic experience at Crystal Resort in Badulla. The staff were extremely warm and welcoming, emphasizing that it’s a family-run establishment. On the upper level, there's a charming bakery where you can indulge in fresh bread and pastries daily. The meals, prepared by his mother, feature amazing, authentic Sri Lankan cuisine that is absolutely delicious and crafted with great care. The view from the rooms is stunning. Waking up to the sight of Sri Lanka's lush green mountains was an unforgettable experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and were grateful for the kindness and hospitality. He even took us on a four-hour drive to Sigiriya, choosing a scenic route and sharing personal stories about himself and Sri Lanka during the journey. It was a memorable experience that we'll cherish.

Great stay in Badulla

During our trip to Badulla, we stumbled upon this wonderful spot. It's a tidy and pleasant place to stay at a fair price. The rooms are extremely clean and cozy, equipped with all the essential amenities. The view is stunning, and there's a bakery on the upper floor. Breakfast was both delicious and fresh. Viraj was very flexible with our check-in and check-out times, making us feel at home, which is quite rare when traveling. Highly recommended!

Stunning Views and Great Service

The balcony offers gorgeous views of the tropical forest. The service is exceptional; you can request almost any food item, and they even made me soursop juice! However, the cleaning could use some improvement. Thank you, Viraj, for your wonderful hospitality and a fantastic stay!

Exceptional Service at Crystal Resort

I’m currently at Crystal Resort and couldn’t wait to share my thoughts! 😄 From the moment I stepped in, Viraj made everything simple — he recommended places to check out and took care of every little detail. He doesn’t just talk; he truly cares. Meals are arranged before you even think to ask, and he’s already getting breakfast ready while we’re still enjoying dinner… it’s impressive! 😂 Traveling with three kids can be a challenge, but he made it totally stress-free. The place is immaculate, boasts an amazing view, and is priced very reasonably. Viraj exemplifies true Sri Lankan hospitality. Thank you for everything — I’ll see you in the morning! 👊

Exceptional hospitality and delicious food

This is actually the first time I've begun writing a review while still at a place. This venue is fantastic! The hospitality has been outstanding right from our arrival. A big shoutout to Mr. Viraj for being so welcoming, friendly, and always willing to assist. You can really sense that he genuinely cares about his guests. The rooms are impeccably clean, well-kept, and include everything you might need. Even the bathroom was immaculate. Honestly, I couldn't find anything to critique. The highlight was definitely the food. Despite our last-minute request, Mr. Viraj was able to whip up a meal for us and served it promptly. And wow... it was truly delicious! I’m excited to see what tomorrow brings. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. If the rest of our time here is anything like today, I already know this will be one of the best places we've visited. Highly recommend!!
