    Disappointing Service Experience

    I'm writing this review after taking a month to rest following our wedding. This isn't about the quality of the work, but rather the attitude of the lady who runs the business. We had to travel from Panadura to her house three times, only to be turned away each time for various reasons. The last time we were sent back was because we arrived just 1.5 minutes late. We were asked to be there at 3:30 and actually arrived by 3:28, trying to call her to let her know we were outside. I'm really disappointed. Additionally, she wasn't even willing to prepare one of the mother's Hair Flowers in the requested color.

    Beware of Extra Charges

    If you look at the other reviews, you'll see where I'm coming from. They called me the day before to let me know that there would be an extra charge for flower delivery—5,000 per delivery for two deliveries. I opted to pick them up myself, only to be told to come at 2:15 AM. I arrived at 1:45 AM, and the lady told me the flowers weren't ready yet. She asked if I could wait or if I wanted to pay for delivery instead. Surprisingly, the flowers ended up being ready by 2:15 after all. Just a heads up: they seem to do whatever it takes to draw you in and jack up the price. I got a much better deal for my going away flowers at ඇස් වාට්ටුව instead. Cheers!

    Politeness Needed from Staff

    The flowers and bouquets were lovely, but it would be nice if the owner were a bit more courteous to customers and answered the phone. I chose this place primarily because of Dhananjaya Bandara, but I decided not to return for my second day.

    Disappointing Experience with Pricing

    I recently contacted Country Bunches to get a quote for a bridal bouquet. I specified a simple design featuring around 5-6 large flowers and 10 smaller accent blooms. While I'm aware that floral prices can fluctuate based on flower types and the season, my experience fell short for two key reasons: • Unprofessionalism: The reply I got lacked any kind of greeting or basic courtesy. It was merely a message with a price attached. In the wedding industry, good communication and customer service are just as crucial as the flowers themselves. • Lack of Pricing Clarity: The quote I received was 58,000 LKR, which is almost three times the typical market rate for bridal bouquets in Sri Lanka, where standard designs usually cost around 20,000 LKR. There was no clarification on why this particular minimal arrangement had such a high price, whether it was due to imported flowers or specific labor costs.
