Great family spot near the beach

I visited with my family, and the location is conveniently close to Panadura beach, offering a pleasant atmosphere. It wasn’t overly crowded, which was surprising, but the food and service were quite good. Perhaps people just aren't familiar with it yet. The food is moderately priced and tastes good. To the management: You're doing a great job! Just a little more professionalism from the staff would elevate the experience further.

Poor service and disappointing food

To start, both the service and food were quite bad. When we arrived, no one approached our table, even though they saw us. After a while, we had to call someone, and when he finally came at 9:45 PM, he informed us that the kitchen was closed and he couldn't take our orders. We decided to leave but then one staff member stopped us, saying he would check with the kitchen and could bring us a menu. We ordered a chicken noodle and two colas. After about 20 minutes, our food arrived, but to our surprise, it wasn't chicken; it was seafood, which I have an allergy to. I accepted it anyway. Unfortunately, it was bland—no salt or flavor, just boiled noodles with a few shrimps and some vegetables. My friend and I were very hungry, but we could only manage a few bites before asking for takeout. We joked that we would have to remake it at home. That's my honest feedback regarding the food and service. I do appreciate the one staff member who at least came to us and provided a menu.
