    Disappointing experience with the doctor

I honestly feel like not giving even a single star. I took my son to this hospital because he had a fever, and I was really let down by the Family Physician on duty. She prescribed pheny cough and Alerid, which I could have given him without a doctor's advice. We go to a doctor expecting better antibiotics to be prescribed. I'm extremely disappointed. I wouldn't recommend this place as it feels like a waste of time.

    Disappointed with Women's Care

I was extremely let down. The doctors seemed unprepared for treating women. When an examination was needed, they couldn't lift the clothing without having a nurse present first, which was quite frustrating.

    Compassionate care during tough times

I had to visit due to my son's illness, and I found both the staff and doctors to be not only kind but also professional. They were extremely patient with him and helped me navigate my unfamiliarity with the procedures, guiding us through everything while managing the needs of a sick child. Even the other patients were considerate enough to share their earlier number with me so that we could see the doctor more quickly. Dealing with a sick child is never easy, but I'm grateful we chose the Central Medical Centre. It truly made a significant difference for us.

    Terrible hospital experience

The OPD fees are exorbitant at 2500, and the service leaves much to be desired. The doctor wouldn't let the patient explain their symptoms and ignored the lab reports that were sent via WhatsApp. I can't recommend this hospital to anyone. It was the worst service I've ever encountered.

    Extremely Disappointing Experience

I went to see Dr. Shankari while I was feeling really unwell, with a high fever, body aches, and a cough. Surprisingly, I was the only patient there, but I hardly got the chance to explain my symptoms. After a brief minute in the initial consultation, she moved me to another room, where she kept communicating through the nurse instead of asking me questions directly. I felt like I was treated as though I had a contagious disease. When I tried to go back in to retrieve my file, a nurse rudely told me to stay out. I paid 2000 for a consultation that lasted just a minute, and I left feeling extremely disappointed. This was the most unprofessional experience I've had with a doctor in Sri Lanka.

    Avoid this place for treatment

I ended up here by mistake. They charged me 7000 for a wound treatment that Ceymade only charged 1000 for the next day. The dressing they applied was subpar as well. I wouldn't recommend this place. Just go to Ceymade instead.

High consultation fee with pharmacy pressure

The 0PD service is decent, but the Rs.2000 consultation fee feels a bit steep. After paying, a nurse directs patients to their outside pharmacy, which seems like pressuring them to purchase medications there. It doesn’t seem fair, as patients should have the freedom to buy their medicines from any source they choose.

    Long wait for doctor visit

I visited today to see an OPT doctor, and my number was 06. Number 05 was called around 9:45 and was done by 9:50. I was in significant pain and needed to see a doctor urgently. However, I ended up waiting over 45 minutes while I could hear the doctor on the phone. Eventually, I chose to go to Vasana in Nedimala instead. It’s unacceptable to keep a patient waiting for such a long time. There were at least 12 nursing staff members and at least 2 staff in plain clothes on the premises.
