Specialized Hospital with Strict Visiting Hours

This hospital is a government facility focused on women's health, particularly for childbirth. It features numerous wards and operating theaters, with various clinics open each day. There are many well-known specialists available for different medical conditions. The staff is a mixed bag. If you have connections with any hospital staff, even at the lowest level, you can manage to get around some of the rules, including visiting outside of normal hours. Visiting hours are: 0600 - 0630 1200 - 1300 1700 - 1800 These times are strictly enforced by the hospital's security team.

Exceptional Experience at Castle Street Hospital

Castle Street Hospital came highly recommended by numerous mothers, and now I see why. Initially, we intended to deliver at a private hospital, but our doctor urged us to choose Castle Street instead. Although we were skeptical at first, it ultimately proved to be one of our best choices. The clinics were busy, yet everything was organized and systematic. When my wife's water bag broke earlier than expected, we hurried to the hospital, and the staff were incredibly supportive and efficient during the admission process. Once my wife was in the ward, our main worry was her staying alone without family. However, given the volume of patients, this setup helps maintain order. The nurses, attendants, and fellow mothers in the ward offered ample care, support, and encouragement. A standout feature of this hospital is that a family member, even a male, can stay with the mother during labor unless a C-section is required. This emotional backing is priceless. The nurses and midwives were professional, friendly, and genuinely dedicated to facilitating a normal delivery whenever possible. After delivery, they offered guidance on feeding, baby care education, and emotional support for new mothers. While the wards can be hectic, being around other mothers experiencing similar situations fosters a strong sense of empathy and motivation. The hospital itself is well-kept and beautifully surrounded by gardens. Before you leave, remember to pick up your medical report, maternity leave letter, and birth certificate forms. You can get the birth certificate forms from Room 9 starting at 9:00 AM. The in-house registrar manages the birth certificate process, making it quick, convenient, and well-organized. We arrived filled with fear and uncertainty but left with a healthy mother, a healthy baby, and hearts full of gratitude. A huge thank you to the doctors, nurses, midwives, and staff for their exceptional service. In our experience, it far surpassed our expectations and outperformed many private hospitals.

Great hospital but poor registration staff

Castle Street Hospital comes highly recommended ❤️. My first child was born here, and the experience was overall positive. However, I found the birth registration team to be quite unprofessional. They seemed irresponsible and lacked proper education. It's frustrating to deal with such staff. The hospital itself is fantastic, but these particular employees waste time. ⚠️
