This is one of the best spots for English courses in Kandy. They offer programs suitable for all age groups, and the courses are well-structured, meeting international standards. The British Council also provides IELTS examinations here. Conveniently located in the heart of Kandy city, the teachers are highly trained and professional.

Today, I contacted the British Council customer care hotline to discuss details about the IELTS exam in Sinhala for better understanding. However, when I greeted them with a good morning and continued in Sinhala, they abruptly ended the call without any explanation. If we were proficient in English, we wouldn't be seeking a course here. This behavior from the call operator was quite unprofessional, and I feel disappointed as a customer.

I recall becoming a member of the Library nearly 10 years ago when I was just 13. Since then, the British Council has offered the best library I've ever visited. I still think about the English class we had there and how they had DVDs on display. I spent countless hours in silence on the bean-bag cushions, surrounded by others like me. I'm really happy it's still around and I hope it continues to serve future generations.

I took my IELTS academic test here. The exam protocols were precisely as outlined in the guidelines. The location is nice and peaceful, allowing for an uninterrupted testing experience. The examiner for the speaking portion was both friendly and professional. Overall, it was a really good experience.
