The venue features two reception halls: a spacious ground-level hall and a medium-sized upper floor hall, both available for separate bookings. The upper hall is air-conditioned, while the main hall can host over 300 guests. However, the parking is insufficient for the number of guests that can be seated.

Honestly, this place is quite impressive. It’s definitely worth the price. The rooms are clean and spacious, the bathrooms are lovely, the beds are comfy, and there are LCD TVs along with a nice open balcony. In my opinion, this would have earned a full 5 stars if the food service was better organized. They really need to improve the food situation since it seemed to be managed by just one person. Overall, I enjoyed the tranquil and peaceful atmosphere, especially the pool area. I’ll definitely be coming back again.

The entire property is fantastic. The rooms are large and well-maintained. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Each room features its own balcony with a table and chairs, perfect for enjoying the lovely lawn, bamboo, and banana trees. It's conveniently located near the main road and just a 5-minute walk to the beach. The WiFi signal could be better, but it's sufficient for checking emails if you're near the router. I hope they can improve this soon.

This place seems to have seen better days. The rooms are decent and tidy, but we struggled with cold showers both in the evening and late morning. The swimming pool and breakfast area could really use some care and attention. One of the beds was broken, and there were holes in the floor around it. Ultimately, we decided to switch hotels. If you just need a room and can handle a cold shower, you might be fine here.

We were concerned about the hotel’s appearance since the photos and reviews hadn’t been updated post-pandemic. Although the hotel shows some age, the room, restaurant, and pool are all in excellent shape. The pool was well-maintained, cleaned twice a week, but there were only two sunbeds available. Though not lit at night, you can still swim thanks to a lantern nearby. The rooms come equipped with everything necessary, even an iron. The air conditioning and fan work wonderfully, and hot water is available around the clock. Insect repellents are provided in every room. On the downside, there’s no work table. If you choose to pay in rupees, be aware that the hotel uses an exchange rate that’s less favorable than the official bank rate. The staff is friendly and always willing to assist; they helped us arrange a transfer to Weligama when the hotel’s transport was unavailable. Rooms are cleaned daily, and the area is peaceful and secure, with gates locked at night and a security guard patrolling the grounds, along with video surveillance. There are many dining options, but they’re further away towards Weligama. Keep in mind that all shops close by 9 pm, and restaurant kitchens stop serving at 10 pm.

The location is quite pleasant, situated a bit away from the beach and near a railway crossing. I attended a function here, and everything was enjoyable and well-presented.

Whenever I visit Sri Lanka, I always make it a point to spend a few nights at Blue Fox. The location is perfect—right in the heart of the Hikka tourist area, just a short walk from the beach, yet nicely away from the hustle and bustle of the main street. There are plenty of excellent restaurants in the vicinity. The rooms are comfortable, and the terrace/balcony is quite spacious. The grounds are lush and well-kept. The staff here is truly exceptional! Wishing them a fantastic season and many more successful years ahead!

This hotel, run by a father and son team, is truly fantastic. In Hikkaduwa, you won't find another place like it that offers such expansive land, a lovely garden, a beautiful pool area, and large, comfy rooms equipped with pantry facilities. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive. The son, Sachin, who oversees the property, is a wonderful gentleman and displays utmost professionalism. As one of the oldest and most respected establishments in Hikkaduwa, I highly recommend staying here. Don't hesitate to book your stay!
