Exceptional Fine Dining Experience
My uncle brought us to Avatana for a fine dining experience in their private dining room. The restaurant boasts a stunning view from the upper floors of the ITC Hotel. We had four fixed menus to choose from, and we felt that Anika was the most substantial option. The staff were extremely accommodating regarding our food preferences, delivering attentive service promptly and without any compromises. The carefully curated food "moments" showcased a fusion of Indian and Sri Lankan flavors with a Mediterranean twist. Overall, it was truly an unforgettable experience.

Exceptional Dining Experience at Avartana
Dining at Avartana in ITC Ratnadipa was truly remarkable. The restaurant offers a meticulously crafted tasting menu that showcases innovative Sri Lankan and Indian cuisine with both creativity and skill. We chose the Anika menu, which was superb. Each dish was beautifully presented, perfectly balanced, and bursting with unexpected yet delightful flavor pairings. What made the evening even more special was the outstanding service. A shout-out to Thamara, Saktyarun, Tashen, and Damindu, along with chef Sunanda, who is undeniably talented. In summary, Avartana is more than just a restaurant; it’s a whole experience. If you’re in Colombo and want an immersive experience paired with exceptional hospitality, this place is a must-visit.

Exceptional Dining Experience in Colombo
This is fine dining at its finest in Colombo, with outstanding ambience, service, and food. Yehan was instrumental in helping us select the perfect tasting menu; he was incredibly welcoming and friendly, providing detailed explanations of each dish. We were celebrating my wife's birthday, and they even assisted in arranging a surprise cake. The food not only looked like a work of art but also tasted amazing. If you're in Colombo, this is a must-visit. I can't recommend it highly enough, and I wish I could give more than 5 stars. It’s worth every penny.

Exceptional service and memorable meal
Our group required some dietary adjustments, and Chef Sunanda took the time to speak with us personally to make the necessary modifications so we could enjoy our meal. She was not only very friendly and professional but also an incredibly talented chef. The meal we had was truly unforgettable. Although I usually don't highlight staff in my reviews, I must mention our waiter Kriston, who was fantastic. He provided friendly service and clearly explained each dish in our 13-course meal.
