The staff consistently went the extra mile to meet our needs quickly, all while wearing genuine smiles. Their focus on detail and dedication to customer satisfaction really distinguish this hotel. One notable highlight was the dining experience. The cuisine at Amuura Beach House is undoubtedly top-notch. Each dish was a delight, featuring a harmonious mix of flavors and exquisite presentation. The freshness and variety of the ingredients were clear, making every meal unforgettable. The hotel’s atmosphere adds to its allure. The coastal vibes and the calming sound of the ocean foster a peaceful setting that lets guests relax and enjoy the surrounding beauty. Charming stay with room for improvement

This place is lovely, featuring outstanding staff who always welcome you warmly. A shoutout to Buddika—he truly enhances the experience by always going above and beyond to ensure guest satisfaction. That said, I've noticed both strengths and weaknesses here. Strengths include: - A fantastic location and inviting ambiance - Cozy rooms with comfortable beds - Extremely friendly staff On the downside: - The WiFi needs work; it's too slow for any productive tasks, even with just three guests in the hotel. - Breakfast could use some variety; you have to eat whatever they prepare without any options. - Shared bathrooms and toilets aren't a big deal if traveling with friends, but I would prefer private facilities for a trip with my wife. - Our room lacked AC; we managed without it, but it would have been a nice addition. - Cocktail choices were limited, and there wasn't a proper menu to check prices or options. - The pool was closed due to the monsoon, and it would have been nice if they had arranged access to a nearby hotel pool to avoid extra costs and searching for alternatives. Since my visit was a birthday celebration for my wife, my feedback is geared towards couples looking for a romantic getaway. If you're okay with the mentioned aspects, this could be a great spot for you. We definitely recommend it and hope management takes these comments as helpful suggestions.

Wonderful Stay at Amuura Beach Hotel

Our time at the Amuura Beach Hotel was absolutely fantastic! Victor, the manager, was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to assist us during our stay. His welcoming nature made us feel right at home. We enjoyed delightful meals throughout our stay, from breakfast to dinner. The food was always tasty, turning each meal into a real pleasure. The cleanliness of the rooms and the entire property was impressive, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The stunning sunsets on the beach were particularly breathtaking, adding a touch of magic to our experience. The hotel also arranged amazing excursions that we thoroughly enjoyed. Visiting the local fish market let us dive into the vibrant local culture, and the trip to the nearby island was a memorable adventure. Overall, we highly recommend spending at least three days at Amuura Beach Hotel. It's a wonderful spot to experience Victor's warm hospitality, indulge in delicious food, enjoy enchanting sunsets, and take part in exhilarating adventures that will make your stay unforgettable.

Lovely stay with stunning views

I had a truly wonderful experience at Amuura Beach Villa—I really didn’t want to leave! The sunsets were incredible, and the peaceful early mornings spent watching the waves crash against the rocks were unforgettable. The colors were beautiful, providing a calming start to the day. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly, creating a homey atmosphere. The decor was lovely, the bed was comfortable, and everything was maintained in spotless condition. The mosquito net was a nice addition, and I was happily surprised by the lack of mosquitoes. The communal bathrooms were very clean and even included a hairdryer. I felt completely safe during my stay. There’s a safety deposit box for valuables, which allowed me to keep the terrace doors open at night to enjoy the sea breeze. WiFi was available but quite weak, which might be a challenge for those needing a stronger connection. The villa is also in a remote area, so transportation is necessary to access shops or restaurants. While the communal bathroom setup may not be for everyone, it worked well for us, and the space was kept tidy and organized. A few extra amenities, like air conditioning or beach towels, would enhance the experience even more.

Great stay with stunning sunsets

We also want to highlight the German host lady, who was not only kind but also very helpful and has a fascinating story. Charming stay with minor maintenance issues

Amuura Beach Villa is a stunning venue, obviously crafted with great care and attention to detail. Everything seemed thoughtfully designed, and the Sri Lankan breakfast was both delicious and meticulously prepared. Dinesh was very kind and accommodating. On a small note, we noticed that some maintenance could be enhanced—the mosquito nets were in poor shape, allowing a few bugs to get inside. It wasn't a major issue, and we believe it would be simple to address.
