This is the worst private hospital in Ratnapura. They don’t even provide washrooms on the ground floor for patients (the channeling center is across from the main building). I’m truly disappointed and hope they address these issues soon.

This is a fantastic spot for your medical checkup. The staff are friendly and the service is highly professional, all at an affordable price. The clinic itself is pleasant, featuring air conditioning and comfortable seating. I believe this is the top private medical center in the Ratnapura city area.❤

Three years ago, I went to settle a hospital bill, but the account wasn’t available that day. A lady informed me of an amount, but without a detailed bill. When I requested the breakdown, she went inside, and another nurse returned with the detailed bill showing (X - 8000 LKR) and apologized for the confusion. Always make sure to ask for a detailed bill before making any payments.

This is one of the worst private hospitals in Rathnapura, with extremely poor and unprofessional customer service. I am very disappointed and wouldn't recommend it even for emergencies or consultations. The women at the reception lack respect when answering the phone. They fail to inform patients about delays with the physicians. When we inquire about the tardiness, their responses are unpleasant and arrogant.

I attempted to call to reach a doctor one day, but the receptionist abruptly ended the call and blocked my number without any reason. This was quite unprofessional and disappointing for a healthcare facility. I really hope the management takes action regarding this behavior.

I had a really negative experience today. The receptionist was quite disrespectful to patients, which was really upsetting. I can't give this hospital a rating. If the management is paying attention to these reviews, I suggest they check the CCTV footage from 12.09.2024 at 18:10 to see her reactions and how she interacts with us. She needs to learn to treat people better. I'm very disappointed. This reflects poorly on your hospital's reputation.

I was extremely disappointed and frustrated with my visit to Aloka Hospital in Ratnapura, where I consulted Dr. Kapila Withanachchi (VOG) about a serious health issue I’ve been dealing with for months. When I asked him to clarify what my illness was, he responded vaguely, saying, “This medicine is given for the illness,” without naming or explaining my condition. When I pressed further in Sinhala, asking, “Doctor, what is my illness?” he simply replied, “We give medicine for the illness.” His condescending tone made me feel as if I didn’t deserve to know or wouldn’t understand. I had already done some research and had a basic grasp of what was happening; I just needed a proper diagnosis and explanation from a qualified doctor, which is what any patient should expect. Instead, I felt judged rather than treated. Additionally, he was rude, disrespectful, and even insulted other doctors during our consultation, which I found extremely unprofessional. The reception staff were equally dismissive, shouting at patients and showing a lack of care or kindness. We choose private hospitals like Aloka in hopes of receiving better service, dignity, and clear answers, not to be insulted and left confused. I left feeling disrespected, humiliated, and still without a clear understanding of my condition. I cannot recommend this hospital or this doctor to anyone.

This is the worst hospital I've ever encountered in Ratnapura. The staff are extremely negligent and show no concern for the patients. Their only focus seems to be on making money instead of providing care.

I arrived at Aloka Hospital in Rathnapura nearly three hours ago after being instructed to come 3–4 hours before my doctor's appointment. I completely understand that minor delays can occur, and I can tolerate a delay of up to an hour. However, this situation has become incredibly draining. I can't afford to spend an entire day just waiting to see a doctor. Being told to arrive so early only to wait for hours without any clear updates or explanations is extremely frustrating and reflects very poor management. I’m not sure if the doctor is aware of the way patients are treated, but this system feels unfair and disrespectful. I truly hope the management recognizes this issue and stops wasting patients' time.
