We booked a day-out package the day before and were met with incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuine staff. They really went the extra mile to make sure we were taken care of, checking on our needs several times. Honestly, the nasi goreng was outstanding😍

We made a last-minute booking for the hotel as part of a package deal and have been quite pleased. The hotel is located right on the beach and is near shops and restaurants. The rooms are quite basic, but the beds are comfortable, and there’s WiFi available in the rooms and throughout the property. The staff here are very friendly and eager to help.

This place has a fantastic location, making it easy to access the beach! The rooms are pleasant, budget-friendly, and definitely offer good value for the cost. The staff were welcoming and provided solid service during our visit. That said, there are areas that need attention. The air conditioning took quite a while to cool down the room, and essential amenities like bed tea were not provided. Additionally, I encountered some frustration with the booking process, which was hard to finalize. Overall, it was a decent stay for the price, but improvements in the booking system and air conditioning maintenance could really enhance the experience.

I stayed here at both the beginning and end of a guided tour in Sri Lanka, and each visit was enjoyable. The price was reasonable, and the rooms were perfect for just sleeping and freshening up. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the location is excellent, surrounded by plenty of shops and restaurants. The pool area is a nice spot to relax, and the food and drink offerings are of good quality. I would recommend this place for a short stay in Negombo.

My girlfriend and I spent a day at this hotel, and overall, we had a positive experience. We really enjoyed the meals we ordered from their menu. However, we found the drinks to be quite pricey, as expected for this type of hotel (a bottle of Coca-Cola costs 500 LKR). On the bright side, they provided complimentary ice, which was nice. The condition of the room was decent, though we encountered a couple of issues. Upon entering, there was a bit of an odor that we managed over time. Also, one of the window blinds was problematic, and we had to figure out a way to keep it open. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for budget-friendly options for a day out or an overnight stay. The sunset view and the beach adjacent to the hotel were truly the highlights of our visit.

We had a wonderful day at Hotel J Negombo! The vibe is very soothing and enjoyable. They offered us a sea-view room at a discounted price, which was a great deal. A big thank you to the kitchen for the tasty Nasi Goreng; it was definitely one of the highlights! What truly set our stay apart was the staff; they were friendly, attentive, and eager to go above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. We left fully satisfied and would highly recommend this place.
