Charming hotel with stunning views

We had a fantastic stay at Amaya Hills overall. The first day brought some rain, which actually enhanced the misty vibe around the hotel, making it feel incredible. The property showcases beautiful traditional Kandyan architecture, lending it an authentic and grand atmosphere. Our double room was moderately sized but very cozy. The standout feature was definitely the view from our room—it was absolutely breathtaking. The staff offered attentive service during our visit. When it came to dining, the food was somewhat average in taste, but the buffet more than compensated with a wide array of choices available. It's a wonderful place to unwind and soak in the Kandyan landscape!

I had a genuinely wonderful and unforgettable stay at Amaya Hills. Right from my arrival, I was taken aback by the stunning surroundings, tranquil atmosphere, and friendly hospitality. The location is simply breathtaking, featuring amazing views and a serene environment, making it an ideal spot to relax and enjoy a peaceful retreat. A special shoutout goes to the reception team, particularly Ayeshika, who offered outstanding service throughout my visit. She was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional, always ready to help with a genuine smile. Her attentive nature and meticulousness made the check-in process seamless and made me feel truly comfortable and well cared for. The overall service at Amaya Hills was top-notch, with staff members being polite and attentive. The blend of beautiful scenery, cozy accommodations, and excellent hospitality significantly enhanced my experience. The hotel features rooms located on various levels, some of which can be reached by elevator while others involve climbing several flights of stairs. Even though we checked in as a family with a small child and a stroller, we were given a room on the top floor without any accessibility considerations.

Great views, minor checkout issue

The location of the hotel is outstanding, set on a hill with stunning views. The food was enjoyable, but we faced a problem during checkout when no one was around to help with our luggage from the second floor, which has no lift.
