    Warm hospitality at Mount Blue Kandy

    We arrived around 10pm for our honeymoon at Mount Blue Kandy, and from the moment we stepped in, the staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. A young lady at the reception had such a soothing voice that it immediately made us feel welcome and at ease. We spent 2 days on a bed and breakfast basis in a deluxe room, and even though our stay was brief, it was definitely worth the price. The comfort, service, and hospitality were all outstanding. They were very flexible, even accommodating a photo shoot we did for our homecoming. I visited back in September, but I'm sharing this now because their warm hospitality really stood out and deserves recognition. 💛✨ Grateful!

    Stunning Views and Great Service

    Mount Blue Kandy is truly amazing. The scenery of the hills and lake is stunning, and the pool is ideal for unwinding. It's conveniently located just 10-15 minutes from the city center, and the staff is always ready to help you arrange a Tuk Tuk or taxi. Captain Khan at the restaurant stands out with his warm, attentive service, making every dining experience memorable. The entire hotel team is fantastic, always available and eager to assist. Our room was spotless, cozy, and featured a balcony with gorgeous views. As a couple, we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful sight. Breakfast was fresh and delightful. If you're planning a trip to Kandy, this hotel is definitely the place to stay. Everything was simply perfect.

    Wonderful stay with exceptional staff

    I spent some time at Mount Blue Kandy during my trip to Sri Lanka, and it was a delightful experience! The hotel boasts stunning views, a tranquil atmosphere, and spotless rooms. However, what truly distinguished my visit was the fantastic staff. Stany, Karunatilake, and Khan were incredibly kind, attentive, and always greeted me with smiles. Their warmth made me feel right at home, adding a special touch to my stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Kandy.     Comfortable Stay with Great Service

    We stayed at Mount Blue Kandy twice, and both times were quite pleasant. During our second visit, the receptionist recognized us, which was a nice touch. Hiruni from the restaurant was incredibly helpful and friendly. The views are stunning, and the ambiance is peaceful and relaxing. We truly enjoyed our time there and would love to return for a third visit. Definitely recommended.

    Our stay at Mount Blue Kandy was fantastic. Perched high above the city, the hotel provides breathtaking panoramic views over Kandy — just waking up to that scenery makes the trip worthwhile. For the price, the hotel offers impressive standards and solid comfort throughout. Everything felt well-kept and thoughtfully arranged, especially given its affordability. The service exceeded our expectations. We faced some issues with our pre-booked train tickets to Ella, and the staff went above and beyond to help us sort it out. Their assistance turned a stressful situation into a smooth experience, and we were truly impressed by their eagerness to assist. We highly recommend Mount Blue Kandy to anyone visiting Kandy who is seeking great value, comfort, and spectacular views.

    This place is fantastic! The mountain view from our hotel room was breathtaking and it felt so serene. The hotel’s food was incredible—we enjoyed both dinner and breakfast there, and everything was delicious. The staff were wonderful, especially Khan, who was very attentive and even set out candles for us.
