    Fantastic food and great service

    My friends and I dined here yesterday, and the food was fantastic. I ordered a chicken burger that was excellent, while some of my friends opted for fried rice and kottu. We were all thrilled with the quality of the food and the service. Since it's a family-run establishment, the staff were incredibly friendly; they even treated us to fruit and assisted us in contacting our driver. They provided a large bottle of mosquito spray as well, just in case. The view is stunning, and the atmosphere is wonderful. 🫶

    Delicious Kottu and Dessert

    The Kottu was incredible. It featured a creamy sauce that made it the best Kottu I've ever tasted. The atmosphere was also delightful. For dessert, we had bananas with ice cream, which were equally fantastic.

    Delicious lunch by the sea

    We enjoyed a fantastic lunch featuring devilled tuna and fried rice with octopus. The location right by the sea is stunning, complete with front row tables that have roofs for protection from both sun and rain. The outdoor pillows and chairs have certainly seen better days and many guests, but we still felt very comfortable, largely thanks to the terrific staff!

    Incredible Kottu and Warm Hospitality

    Easily the best Kottu I've ever had! You must run and try it! 😍 We were in the area for nearly three weeks, and we ate here every single day. It's a family-owned spot, and the staff are the friendliest, most welcoming people you could wish for. You really feel at home when you're there. Now, about Mama’s Kottu… it's incredible. She uses her own unique recipe, and you can genuinely taste the love in every bite. We've sampled Kottu from various places across Sri Lanka, but nothing compares to this one! The price is fantastic too – just 900 rupees for a Kottu, which is very reasonable given the quality and portion size. Sadly, we didn’t get a chance to say goodbye before we left, but we're sending you big hugs and a heartfelt thank you for everything! ❤️

    Cozy spot with amazing food

    I entered because it seemed inviting and offered a lovely view. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and the food was fantastic. You absolutely have to try the banana fritters; they were out of this world!

    Charming seaside dining experience

    While exploring Polhena Beach, we stumbled upon the Sea View Food Court, and it turned out to be a wonderful find. The staff greeted us with genuine warmth, and the location is one-of-a-kind, surrounded by lush greenery and offering stunning sea views. We savored a prawn curry and Chicken Nasigurani, along with a refreshing beer and mango juice. To top it off, we enjoyed a cappuccino and a unique dessert featuring local yogurt served in a terracotta pot, enhanced by the sweet and delicate taste of kitlul, which the owner had procured just for us at our request. The friendliness and attentiveness of the staff were unmatched; we’ve never felt such a warm welcome anywhere else during our trip. I wholeheartedly recommend this spot to anyone looking to enjoy a meal with a sea view in a friendly atmosphere.
