Great host and comfy rooms
Thinesh is an excellent host. The rooms are very comfortable and the beach is easily accessible. However, it's advisable to have your own transportation since it's somewhat away from the main road.

Lovely stay at Sea View Resort
I had a fantastic experience at Sea View Resort. This cozy homestay has a very inviting atmosphere, and the host was exceptionally kind and respectful. We also relished a tasty breakfast that included tea, toast, and fresh fruits. The location is ideal, right across from the beach, adding to its charm. I highly recommend it!

Great stay at a welcoming resort
I had a fantastic experience at this resort! The owner was incredibly kind and helpful, always there to assist us with whatever we needed, which truly enhanced our stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I was also taken by the lovely garden – it was serene, well-kept, and ideal for some relaxation. All in all, it was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in search of a peaceful and inviting getaway.

Great location near Kallady Beach
The rooms are tidy, and it's just a short walk to Kallady Beach. You can even catch a glimpse of the beach from their garden. The owner is incredibly friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place.

Great location but noisy accommodations
I spent four nights here and found the host to be friendly and accommodating. The location is really convenient, just a short walk to the beach. However, this place is probably best for early risers or those who aren’t bothered by noise. The property is quite open, which means sounds carry easily. I noticed noise starting early in the morning, from cleaning, breakfast chatter, and even a rooster crowing at around 4:00 a.m. If you’re a light sleeper or enjoy sleeping in, you might find this a bit difficult, but early birds shouldn't have an issue. Privacy is somewhat lacking due to the open layout. I also noticed a slight damp smell in the room, and the air conditioning was only operable in an on/off manner since the remote was broken. Additionally, the bathroom sink felt a little unstable. While there's no direct view of the sea, it’s close enough, though the upkeep could be better. In summary, this place may suit those seeking a basic stay near the beach who can overlook noise and privacy concerns.

Great stay by the ocean
Staying in the cabana by the ocean was fantastic, and the owner was incredibly welcoming. The garden is lovely, plus there’s free filtered water and a space for yoga and gymnastics! I also really enjoyed a generous breakfast. Thank you, Thinesh!

Charming coastal retreat
I had a lovely time at Sea View Resort. Dinesh, the owner, was very welcoming and accommodating, and the location couldn't be better, right across from the beach. We enjoyed breakfast while we were there, and it was fresh and tasty. It's an ideal spot if you're seeking a straightforward and relaxing getaway by the sea. Wonderful stay at Sea View Resort
My stay at Sea View Resort Batticaloa was one of the best experiences I've had. Cleanliness: Coming from abroad, we have high standards for cleanliness, but there were no concerns here. The rooms are well-kept and regularly cleaned, and if any issues arise, the staff is always ready to assist. Staff: The owner, Dinesh, was fantastic. He was just a phone call away and helped us with whatever we needed. He was often seen around the resort, cleaning, opening gates for cars, and generally assisting guests. He is a genuinely kind and honest person who was incredibly helpful to us. Location: As shown in the pictures below, the resort is located right across from the beach, offering stunning views. I loved my morning walks with a beautiful ocean backdrop. As a beach enthusiast, I appreciated the unmatched convenience of having the beach just a short walk across the road. The beach was clean, the water was warm, and it was a delightful spot. I even went fishing with local fishermen, and the wonderful lady at the resort cooked my catch for us. In summary, this is one of the best resorts in Batticaloa—affordable, clean, with excellent hospitality and breathtaking views. There’s nothing to complain about at all. If we return to Batticaloa, we will definitely know where to stay.

Charming Family-Run Bungalows
After being relocated from another "resort" nearby (Inpan's) that had given away my reserved room, I found myself at this lovely family-run establishment. I stayed in one of the bungalows, which was ideal. It had hot water, air conditioning, and the hosts were very helpful during a stressful time.
