Discrepancy in VAT Charges

We dined at East Lagoon, and while their website indicated a VAT of about 12-15%, we were charged 18% on our food. This felt quite unfair.

Overpriced Rooms but Acceptable Overall

The location, food, and rooms are all decent, but I find the prices for the single AC rooms and other room categories to be excessive. Given the amenities provided, the cost doesn't seem justified.

Great first visit to a 3-star hotel

Last May, we went to this hotel for the first time with friends for a Lions Club event. The location and atmosphere were absolutely delightful. Also, this was the first 3-star hotel I checked out in Batticaloa town.
