The hotel offers a soothing and tranquil atmosphere, and the rooms are fairly roomy. That said, I can't wholeheartedly recommend it. When we arrived, the floor in our room was sandy, and we had to ask for basic items like dental kits separately.

The pool is fantastic, and the rooms are quite spacious. There are plenty of activities available, like a gym, spa, and even a cricket pitch. Some of the restaurant staff were really friendly and took great care of our little one, engaging with them nicely.

This hotel is fantastic, with wonderful staff and an excellent chef. The pool attendants were very friendly, and the rooms felt very comfortable and cool. Everyone was so welcoming, and it was heartwarming to be greeted with such happiness on our second visit. I've even celebrated my birthday here in the past two years. A big thank you to Ishani and the entire team at Mermaid Hotel ❤️

This is a stunning spot to enjoy your vacation, right by the beach and just a short distance from the ancient city of Kalutara, which is definitely worth exploring. The staff is incredibly friendly and always attentive, ready to assist with any requests you might have.

We reserved two full-board rooms for a family birthday celebration, and the entire experience was fantastic from beginning to end. The rooms were spotless and cozy, and the food was both tasty and beautifully presented.

This is our second visit to this hotel, and it remains one of the best we've experienced. The hotel staff are incredibly helpful, cheerful, and kind. From the supportive team to the managers, everyone is excellent.

We had a fantastic experience at this hotel to wrap up our holiday, staying for three nights. Our deluxe sea view room was quite nice, though it showed some signs of wear. The staff were outstanding and took excellent care of us, even accommodating us when we overslept and arrived late for breakfast one morning! Sam, our waiter, really stood out with his exceptional service.
