I was referred to The Physio by my doctor, and from the moment I stepped inside, the front desk team greeted me warmly, which instantly put me at ease. Although the therapist I was initially supposed to see wasn’t available, I was assigned to Ms. Shaveena Shahabdeen, and it ended up being a fantastic experience. Ms. Shaveena is incredibly professional, extremely knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. She took the time to assess my various conditions thoroughly, explained the reasons behind my pain and recurring injuries, and focused on identifying the root causes rather than just treating the symptoms. Her patience, meticulous attention, and compassionate demeanor truly distinguish her. In my first session, she addressed my golfer's elbow and right rotator cuff injury, and I felt noticeable improvement right after. During my second session, she worked on my back pain and tailbone injury. I had previously sought help from several other clinics, but no one had explained the cause of my pain or effectively tackled the underlying issue like Ms. Shaveena did. She also created a long-term recovery plan with specific exercises to strengthen the affected areas and help avoid future injuries. I’m extremely thankful for the excellent care I received and wholeheartedly recommend Ms. Shaveena Shahabdeen and the entire team at The Physio to anyone looking for professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate physiotherapy. I’ve been seeing my physiotherapist, Ms. Wathsala Sewwandi, for a lower back issue that had been bothering me for almost a year. After trying multiple providers without much success, I can genuinely say that the progress I've made here has been outstanding. Even after just five sessions, I've experienced a notable decrease in pain along with a significant improvement in my mobility and overall comfort. Ms. Wathsala's treatment style is both professional and precise, and it’s clearly effective. She takes the time to grasp the underlying cause of my issue and customizes each session accordingly. The treatments are concentrated, efficient, and have instilled in me the confidence that I am finally on the right track toward recovery. The entire staff has been wonderful—friendly, responsive, and always ready to assist. Whether it's scheduling appointments or addressing concerns, they ensure that every visit is a positive experience. Because of my back problem, I had to pause my regular exercise routine, which was very frustrating.
