Outstanding dental experience

I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Upali Piyadigama, and I highly recommend him. From the start, he was very caring, patient, and reassuring, which really helped since it was my first dental surgery. He clearly knows his stuff and explained everything in a way that calmed my nerves. What surprised me the most was waking up with no pain or soreness whatsoever. The whole procedure and recovery went way smoother than I anticipated. I’m really thankful I chose Dr. Upali — he’s an exceptional dental surgeon.

Exceptional dentist experience

I can confidently say he’s the best dentist I’ve ever encountered. Today, I had my wisdom tooth removed and also got a filling done. There was no pain, no bleeding, and I feel perfectly fine. I had my wisdom tooth extraction performed by Dr. Upali Piyadigama at Asiri Surgical Hospital. I arrived feeling quite anxious, as I typically dread these types of procedures. From our first meeting, the doctor was calm, friendly, and very empathetic. He really understood my fears and helped me feel at ease throughout the process. Even though he indicated that the surgery might be somewhat complex, the entire experience was completely painless—I felt the procedure but not any discomfort. Afterward, I was able to drive back to Kalutara on my own. What stood out to me the most was that the doctor called me personally the next day to see how I was doing. I've never experienced such a high level of care from a doctor before. I highly recommend him to anyone facing dental issues, particularly if you're feeling nervous. I held off on writing this review for over two months after getting my wisdom tooth extracted to see how the healing went. Now, I can confidently say everything healed perfectly, and I’m extremely pleased with my experience. For several years, I struggled with this wisdom tooth. I had consulted a few dentists, some of whom only increased my anxiety about the extraction by detailing how challenging it could be. The tooth was poorly positioned and even impacted the adjacent tooth, so I realized I had to act. Upon my arrival at the clinic, I felt a bit uncertain as the place appeared quite old and simple. I discovered the doctor through Google reviews focused on wisdom tooth extractions, and I decided to trust the positive feedback and proceed. I’m so thankful I did. The doctor was exceptional. He thoroughly examined my X-ray, clearly explained everything before starting, and helped me feel relaxed and at ease. He didn’t make the procedure sound daunting or complex. His confidence and expertise immediately reassured me that I was in good hands. The extraction itself was much simpler and faster than I had anticipated after years of dread. I was genuinely surprised by how smoothly he managed the entire process. Sometimes, it’s not wise to judge a clinic or a doctor based on how modern the place looks. What truly matters is the doctor’s knowledge, experience, and skill — and this doctor possesses all of those qualities. Exceptional dental care experience

I recently had my wisdom tooth removed by Dr. Piyadigama, and it was truly the best dental care and post-operative support I've ever had in my life. I highly recommend Dr. Piyadigama to anyone who feels anxious about dental visits because he is simply the best! I initially went in due to pain radiating from my upper jaw, but Dr. Piyadigama accurately diagnosed the issue as stemming from my wisdom tooth in the lower jaw. He performed the extraction with great care, constantly reassuring me and easing my fears during the procedure. I felt no pain whatsoever. After the surgery, while I anticipated some discomfort once the anesthesia faded, the combination of Panadeine and antibiotics he prescribed resulted in barely any pain, just some mild discomfort. He even checked in by phone that night and the next morning to ensure there were no complications. His post-operative instructions were clear and essential for my smooth recovery. Thank you, Dr. Piyadigama! It was truly the best care I’ve received from a highly skilled and professional doctor!
