Unfair Charges on SHEIN Order
Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to formally complain about the unfair and unauthorized charges related to my recent SHEIN order that was dealt with by Aramex. When I placed the order, it was clearly stated that delivery would be free. However, upon its arrival in Sri Lanka, I was asked to pay LKR 3100 as 'duty charges.' I was also told that if I refused to pay, my parcel would be destroyed. Feeling pressured, I ended up paying LKR 1500 to get my package. In total, I have spent LKR 4667 on this order, which is significantly more than what was originally stated. I believe that Aramex has applied these charges unfairly, as SHEIN did not disclose such fees at the time of purchase. This experience is both misleading and unacceptable. I kindly ask that you look into this issue thoroughly and take appropriate action against Aramex if any wrongdoing is identified.
