Stunning beachfront gem with exceptional food

After hearing rave reviews, we decided to check out this beautiful beachfront restaurant and were thrilled to find it had just opened. The setting is breathtaking, right on the beach with views of the crystal-clear Uppaveli sea, making it an ideal spot for a meal. The highlight for us was the food, which was undoubtedly the best we had during our time in Sri Lanka, and the prices felt very reasonable for the quality. Particularly noteworthy was their crab, which was simply outstanding. We also tried crab at the renowned Ministry of Crab in Colombo, but this was in a league of its own. The crab here in Trincomalee was juicy, packed with flavor, and expertly cooked—a true treat for the taste buds. Kudos to the entire team! This restaurant is a real treasure, and we sincerely hope it achieves the success it deserves. We will absolutely return if we come back to Sri Lanka!

Fantastic Dining Experience in Sri Lanka

This is a fantastic spot for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food ranks among the best we've experienced in Sri Lanka. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to help. We're truly sad to be departing from this lovely place.

Mixed experience with service and food

We had high hopes based on the reviews, but the experience turned out to be quite different. Starting with the negatives: The phone number listed on Google didn’t work, preventing us from making a reservation. Upon arrival, we had to wait and then spent about four to five minutes searching for a table. Once seated, we waited 25 minutes to place our drink orders. We had to seek out the waiter to get our requests in. The restaurant was lacking many ingredients, so anything with blue in it was unavailable, along with their signature crabs and passion fruit. Unfortunately, the fish we ordered was overcooked. To top it off, our starter arrived just as we were finishing our main courses. On the positive side: The setting was picturesque, the atmosphere was lively with a great live band, and the chicken burger was excellent. In all honesty, the poor service was the biggest disappointment here.

Fantastic beachside dining experience

This place is outstanding. The food is fantastic, the beach is perfect for children, and the staff is incredibly friendly, making for a wonderful overall experience. If you order a drink, you can take advantage of their cabanas. We enjoyed our meals here for three consecutive days because it was just that good.
