I had booked a room with a sea view, but the front desk initially assigned me a deluxe room that mostly overlooked trees, with just a hint of the sea. After negotiating twice, I finally received a room that met my expectations for a nice sea view, but the overall experience left me feeling quite disappointed. Additionally, the location is not very convenient.

We spent our final day in Sri Lanka at this hotel, which boasts a lovely beachside location. However, the road behind it leaves much to be desired. Our 'sea view' room felt more like a display case for anyone passing by.
